In feb ’06, Eva Gregory, my life partner, came across a reference to Dr Bruce Lipton and epigenetics while listening to an Abraham-Hicks San Diego seminar, and checked him out. Bruce Lipton earned a Ph.D. as a cell biologist in 1973. In 1982, he bagn to examine the relationship between Quantum Physics and cell biology.
Five years of research at Stanford led to some breakthrough discoveries about the way our environment affects our cells and the turning on and off of our genes. “His discoveries, which ran counter to the established scientific view that life is controlled by the genes, presaged one of today’s most important fields of study, the science of epigenetics.”
From Wikipedia: “Epigenetics” is “The study of reversible heritable changes in gene function that occur without a change in the sequence of nuclear DNA. It is also the study of the processes involved in the unfolding development of an organism. In both cases, the object of study includes how gene regulatory information that is not expressed in DNA sequences is transmitted from one generation (of cells or organisms) to the next – that is in addition to the genetic information encoded in the DNA.”

If you’re finding out all sorts of things about how the mind controls the way the body works, it seems logical to start to apply that to yourself. Bruce has gone public in a big way. His book – The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter and Miracles – was published in 2005.
